Tips to know beofre you arrive

Here are some things you will want to know or do before your first float:

- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your float time for a brief orientation - Arrive 5 minutes early for subsequent floats.

- You will be emailed a waiver; you can complete it beforehand or when you arrive (for couple’s floats - the second person will complete their waiver in-store).

- Each of our float suites has a private dressing area and shower, so most customers take all of their clothing off. If it would make you more comfortable, you may also bring a swimsuit.

- Everything else is provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, earplugs and towels.

- Do not shave or wax before your float - The salt water solution may irritate your skin.

- Remove your contacts - Your eyes will be more comfortable without contacts or glasses on.

- Eat a small meal about 1 hour prior - It will be easier for your body to rest if you aren't too full or really hungry.

- Don't drink caffeine before floating - caffeine is a stimulant and will make it difficult to rest and relax.

- DO NOT apply makeup, moisturizer, perfume or spray tan before coming for a float.

- DO NOT float if you've dyed your hair in the past 10 days. With red dye, we require waiting 30 days to float (we've found that red dye can leach out of hair for weeks which can damage our float tanks).

After Your Shower

Dry your face to avoid distracting water droplets, insert your ear plugs and step into the tank.

Enter The float pool

Go to the center of the tank and sit down - the buoyancy of the water ensures that you will float. Once you have your halo pillow ready behind your head, recline back into the water. As you recline your body will lift off the tank floor and you will experience zero gravity! Any music selection you have made will turn on automatically.

Exit The float pool

At the end of your float session, any audio and lights you have turned off will gently fade on and a chime noise will sound three separate times to indicate you are finished. Exit the pool, then shower again to remove any salty residue. Once you’ve dressed, please exit the room to make way for our next floater.
